How Bubblbook works

If you cater to groups, the main blocker to someone seeing your offering online and clicking BOOK is that the available times don’t suit.  That’s why we create an option for activity providers to create flexible sets of bookable times. Flexible means that for every slot you add, you can choose whether it is possible to book and pay immediately or you can set it as a provisional slot that you may confirm later, depending on interest. 

Provisional slots can be set to confirm as soon as a certain minimum number of people have committed to attend. This way you can be sure that any time-slots you cater to will be worth your while. You also have the option to confirm provisional slots manually.

In either case, once a slot is triggered we notify those who expressed interest that it’s going ahead. There is also flexibility here around taking payment in advance and setting your refund policy. Our goal is simply to maximise bookings in a way that’s as convenient as possible for everyone. 

The other big blocker to people hitting that BOOK button is that they need to get people on board and agree on a time first.  That’s why apart from the usual ‘Book’ button we also offer a ‘Form a Group’ button. This encourages website visitors who are unsure or don’t know the details yet to share a link with friends to see who’s up for it and when. If it comes together, the organiser can pay for everyone, or if they like, we organise payment collection from each participant and pass it on to you, the provider. 

Once a time is agreed and participants have committed to pay, we process things just like a normal booking. We believe that this is the future of group bookings and it’s already catching on.  You can opt in to display our ‘Form a Group’ button on your listing or drop a code snippet for the button anywhere you like to see if it helps you convert more website or social media visitors into bookings.

Our booking solution also has similar functionality to let providers offer ‘provisional’ slots that only confirm if the minimum number of participants to make it worthwhile are up for it.
