Anyone who’s every tried to get their friends together for anything will know what a pain it can be. We all have our styles of organisation – some like to lay down the law and just tell everyone the what and where and when – and then act hurt when no-one shows up. Others will run around asking everyone about their preferences until it’s clear that no-one’s going to be happy no matter what’s agreed.

Having wasted time with these approaches, among others, we finally sat down and decided there had to be a better way. The result is Bubblbook – an online democratic solution that makes arriving at what best suits everyone as easy as humanly – and digitally – possible. We’ve tested it out and it really does help. Here’s how it works:

It’s totally free to use and unlike other solutions out there, it always starts with provisional events and values flexibility above all else. No fixed dates or sense of failure if something doesn’t come together. Bubblbook gives you a painless way to test out the appetite for an experience within a group. If the appetite is there, we maximise the likelihood of it coming together. If it’s not and things don’t come together, nobody’s any worse off.

We give your activity ideas a chance in a way that not other event organisation solution can.  Instead of looking for a ‘Yes’ or a ‘No’, you ask people what would suit them. Then with our shared online space where everyone can see each other’s availability along with all the information they might need about the event, it’s easier to see exactly who might need a nudge to push something over the line.

It works like a charm, but we want to keep improving so please jump in an take a punt on something with your friends. It’s fun, it’s easy and you really do have nothing to lose. Have a look at our things-to-do suggestions here:
